Herman geeft cursus op een no-nonsense manier die duidelijk is voor iedereen, niet de saaie theorie die je in boeken kan terugvinden maar echt tips en tricks waarmee je iets kan aanvangen.
 Openphoto is a fantastic platform led by Herman Van Aken, a photographer / teacher who is top in his profession.
Herman gives a course in a no-nonsense way that is clear to everyone, not the boring theory that you can find in books, but really tips and tricks with which you can start something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik heb zelf meerdere cursussen gevolgd bij Herman Van Aken. Hij heeft me leren fotograferen en al de geheimen van de fotografie kristalhelder uitgelegd. Dankzij hem ben ik in 2012 zelf begonnen als professioneel fotograaf, ik beschouw Herman dan ook als mijn mentor. Met passie en humor deelt hij al zijn kennis met zijn cursisten. Cursussen kan je overal volgen, maar niet zoals bij Open Photo !
I myself have followed several courses with Herman Van Aken. He taught me how to photograph and explained all the secrets of photography crystal clear. Thanks to him, I started as a professional photographer myself in 2012, so I consider Herman as my mentor. With passion and humor he shares all his knowledge with his students. You can take courses anywhere, but not like with Open Photo!
