Very cozy restaurant and very friendly staff! The portions are also more than enough, I wasn't even hungry the next day!

Due to its location, it is not frequented by tourists and a testament to its worth is that it is well-supported by the locals that live in the surrounding area. As tourists, we were lucky that friends of ours that live locally brought us here as the quality was far better than we had been experiencing in some of the same level restaurants in Gent that serve Belgian fare, but mainly to tourists. Depending on your definitions, this restaurant is at the level of brasserie slightly more than bistro. The service was prompt and unobtrusive, the portion sizes were good and the meals properly prepared. The locals gave the place a nice atmosphere with a good hum from people chatting convivially and enjoying their meals.

We also talked to the owner who gave us two shots of vodka (Bitterball) and this was really good. The food was also good. But, we also had a lot of drinks. And these drink were also good. So overall it was really good. We are definitely going back to Pattaya because it was really good! I think the owner is a really good owner. And he looks like a good human. The people over there were also really friendly. There was a little worm in the oyster but the worm was no problem for us. We also really liked the oysters. There were very big and fleshy. So they were good. The steak was also really good. I myself did not go to the toilet, but I heard from other people that is a good toilet. Thank you Pattaya! See you soon!
