Don't be fooled by the looks, there's seating in the back. You can connect enjoy a very nice breakfast or one of there cakes with a cup of Joe.

Amazing coffee. Outstanding pastries. Welcoming and friendly staff. Open for coffee around 7.00 am and sometime early.

The pastries were like works of art, and the two I tried were delicious. I'd definitely return. My only complaint: poor espresso.

Top brood, top koeken, top service. Just thinking about Caruso makes me want more ?

Lots of tasty desserts and delicious bread difficult to choose

Location: Right by the daily market stalls, and not too far from the ocean. It's about a ten minute walk from the center. The place: Very simple and cream-coloured. It gave me the impression that it was more for folks of a certain age if you know what I mean. This thought was proven as people started to arrive because I was definitely the youngest person in there! They have several tables and these seem to fill up fairly quickly in the morning. I arrived around 8:30 or so and I'd say by 9:30, it's pretty busy. The goods: So I went twice. First, for breakfast - I had the English breakfast and it was massive. There was way more food then I expected and this was my first meal post food poisoning so sadly, I couldn't eat everything. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, two bread pains (pain blanc, pain gris).... I think maybe there was a croissant in there? A whole coffee pot for me, too. The breakfast was OK, but I like my eggs to be cooked more than they were (I think this is a cultural thing - these were too 'juicy'). There was a ton of bacon (note: they don't cook it crispy here) and the sausages were hot dog sausages which I don't eat. Great bread and great coffee. If you're still hungry after that spread, there's something wrong with you! I returned later for a latté and a pastry and they were delicious. If anything, stop by for an afternoon snack because their pastries are awesome. Price point: I think breakfast was 19€.

What a wonderful place! Very happy my friend booked us a Table there. We had coffee and cake it was incredible! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oostende.

The visit during covid did not allow for trying the service in the seating area. Can get really crowded but the waiting is certainly worthwhile. There is a circulation of different sweets coming out, so if you see something that you like you have to grab it there and then.
