★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not let the name of this place put you off. Had I run across it randomly in Maps I might have skipped it because of the name. I stopped by on Saturday just as the place was closing for lunch but was told I had to try “the best pizza in Brussels” by my chocolatier friend Laurent Gerbaud. He specifically recommended the Nuvola. It’s made with 2-3 day fermented dough that is first steamed to get the rise and then baked to get three different textures. This is then covered with 36-month old ham and stracciatella cheese with fresh lemon. Chili olive oil on the side.
Amazing - hard to call it a - pie. The croquettes were also very good and the draft (fût) beer selection is small but well curated. The ingredients - the same as the other Pastra Madre locations - are all apparently trucked in weekly from Italy.
Easy to get to, a fun location in the ground floor of a renovated hotel, a nice room, and good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the pizzas! The dough was exceptional, so fresh and tasty! We got 3 pizzas from the gourmet suggestions, all fresh ingredients.From the sweets, Biramisu was fresh but personally didnt like it much and Pannetone was very good! Attention, better book because it gets full in the evenings!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent pizza! I chose a "Via Emilia": service was very fast and the taste of both mortadella and pistachio was incredible. I'm italian and I think this is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten outside Italy
