★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a gem. Large 2 floor bookstore with some common and rare titles in English, French, and Netherlands. The selection of vinyl has also increased lately. Friendly and helpful employees. I never leave empty handed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better book and record shops in Antwerp. Unique in that they offer both audio and books. Located near barrista place Normo and 'bruine kroeg' De Kat (for the old garde of artists). Panoply is located a recently upgraded pedestrians-preferred street. It is close to Demian, the place to be for rare and expensive books and next to De groene waterman, the bookstore for new books destined for the left-wing cosmopolitan crowd. From Panoply, it is a five minute walk to the most beautiful square of the old city: Conscienceplein. Panoply deserves five out of five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panoply 2nd hand (and some new books and record store) is a bit of a mixed bag. The shop is cosy and the staff is friendly, but due to it's smaller size (2 floors in a common house) and the large scope of books (novels, science, history, ... ), vinyl, dvds, cds they offer, it's selection is rather limited in all departments. The DVD-selection is only 2 racks, the CD-rack is even smaller and true 2nd hand gems will cost you. It's a cosy shop to stroll, but it's too little of everything. 2nd hand book hunters will be better of at De Sleghte. 2nd hand DVD and Blu-ray hunters will find a much larger selection at Gamebusters. But if you love strolling around in 2nd hand stores, surely give Panoply a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places to be in Antwerp. Amazing selection of books and records, and the staff really knows their stuff. I’m always greeted warmly and they always make time for small talk. I have also ordered some records through them that I wasn’t never able to find myself. Because of Panoply, I could finally add it to my collection.
Lastly, they have their own totebags and they change them up every couple of months. They are super cute, make sure you get one!
