The stay was very nice and met our expectations. We especially liked having a room for four people.

Worst restaurant experience ever. We came to the restaurant with a bongobon (a voucher) for a gourmet burger. First the waiter greeted us very unfriendly. After waiting a while, he came back 2 or 3 times to ask if we would pay with the bongobon and what the voucher was for. We then explained it to him that it was for a gourmet burger (as we had said when we reserved our table a month in advance and as it said on the bongowebsite). Then still after a while waiting, the waiter informed us that they did not have any burgers but that they would offer us a 3-course menu. We were surprised, but found it very kind that we were offered something else. Then we waited and waited and waited for an hour until our first course arrived. I had the day soup and my boyfriend the mozarella with tomatoes. My soup was okay, my boyfriend's portion was too small. We still thought: okay maybe the main course will be better. Again we waited for an hour. The waiter, still very unfriendly each time he came to our table, came and asked if we had had our first course yet. So they totally forgot that we were waiting for our main course. Then some time later (so we waited for over an hour) I got the pasta vongole: the portion was not bigger than my cereal bowl in the morning and half the vongole were empty. My boyfriend got pork chops. 3 tiny pieces of meat, each not even a mm thick and a couple of fries. At this point, we were really hungry and hadn't had a great experience at all. We noticed that other tables found the same: it took the waiter more than half an hour to give one table drinks after they ordered, they gave some tables food before tables that were waiting longer. They came and asked another table if they had had their first course yet. Another table bursted out in laughter when they saw the portions of the main course. One lady asked salt for the fries she had waited for for also more than an hour. She never got it ,she stood up and took it herself. It was chaos. The dessert was good, but still not enough for our hunger to go away. We were very surprised by this service. We went to stay in novotels all around Europe, where we always had excellent food and an excellent stay. But we will never go to Novotel Leuven ever again. We understand that the restaurant might have been understaffed. But no customer should have waited this long for their tiny food.

Novotel.. plain but good. The front desk staff were great. Shower good, room comfortable... Let down by low quality linens

Hotel is clean and location is convenient for my business trip. But for the on-site parking space is limited and operate by others, they can't provide parking fee in one hotel invoice. Make sure you get parking receipt in paying machine if you needed.

I will be not recommending this hotel to anyone. I don't know if we were unlucky to deal with a very unfriendly staf or if is always like this. Is not that they are rude, but they are not into small talk or very friendly. But so far is not that big of a problem. We get there at 15:30, the check in is 15:00. They give us keys and we go upstairs to find out that the room is not ready yet, the cleaning lady, who was indeed polite and friendly, was busy with making the beds, we waited outside until she was finished. Fast-forwarding to dinner time, our booking package included 3 courses menu dinner for 2 and we would pay extra for the kids. As we arrive there is not much of a restaurant as some table in the lobby area and a bar. Only one very unfriendly and rude guy taking the orders and serving the tables. We got a downsized menu with very little options and no explanation, as he just put the menu in front of us and walk away. The kids got the normal menu with all the options. So we order and takes almost 30 min for the entre to come and more then an hour for the main courses. Which was not got enough, not appetizing of even decent looking meal. And the guys trow some bags at the table from distance and walked away, later we realized there were bread and botter. When we finished we called him to order dessert and drinks and he exploded. From distance said he would order de desserts but we HAD to wait because there were only one person in the kitchen, very rude and looking mad. So we stand up and walked away to our room. First I walked to him and said he didn't need to be that rude, and should learn how to deal with clients. We stayed there 2 more days but eating else where, where we were not treated like trash. And we Never heard an apology for any one of the staff. Breakfast were ok, enough options to eat, but once again unfriendly staff. And if we asked any information is not well received. So no, I will not be coming back or recommend to a friend.

Stayed in a family room with 2 children, for a short stay it works. About 15 min walking to city centre. Parking in front of the hotel is very limited, but there is an option of paid parking (20 euros). Amazing breakfast.

The bed was ok but the hotel would need a general refurbishment. The carpet in my room was more dirty then the street outside of the hotel. The idea of not making the room due to the pandemic is a clever way to save money but I do not get the link with the pandemic ...

Pluses and minuses; Breakfast is very good I have ever seen between Novotel. Room cleaning is good. Receptionists are helpful and gentle. Restaurant workers are also very kind. Name is center, but not near the center. No laundry service, too bad for me, I am staying generally 3 weeks at hotels. No parking are, there is but not belong to hotel as web site said. You have to pay 20 Euro per day for parking. Reception showed parking area in front of the hotel beside the road is full every time. Written silent proof but not. I can hear in my room one floor up or beside rooms guests pee voice while he is peeing. Very disguisting. By the way I am staying executive room.
