★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service: When I visit the place on 29 May 2019 the service was the worst I have ever seen. I literally walk into the shop and have to wait for like 5 minute because the shopkeepers are talking to each other. They are not even busy serving other customer, just chatting with each other.
Chocolate: Taste good but seriously you can find better one in Belgium. I’m in Brussels for a short visit so I would like to try as much as “Belgium chocolate” as possible. Thus, I also walk next door and bought Mary chocolate. The service is much better and the chocolate is a lot better also. Solemnly swear that according to the chocolate taste it’s not my own personal bias. I bought 10 pieces of chocolate from each shop and let 10 different people sample it and 7/10 say Mary chocolate is better.
So if you are like me, wanting to try chocolate in Brussels but didn’t want to spend that much money on chocolate from various shop just don’t pick Neuhaus. I know it’s very famous but seriously it’s VERY overrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's just start by saying this place is expensive, but chocolate in Belgium is period. The service and quality here demand the price and the selection is good. Staff was helpful and friendly. The shop was quite busy the day we were there, but we got the assistance we needed and they helped with recommendations. The chocolate is to die for!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most expensive chocolates I’ve ever tried. But if you like chocolate like me very much, it is a place to go once. .The staff was so kind, the hygiene was clean, it was good. I was impressed by the way I cared about the wonderful display.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a self guided tour of the more popular shops in the city and this was on the tour. It was one of my favorite chocolate shops. I'm not a chocolate expert and there aren't many chocolates I've meet that I didnt like but the ones we picked were fantastic. The staff was helpful and friendly and made some great recommendations. Would definitely go back when we are in Brussels again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for the branch at Galleria since I cannot find it on Google maps. The service is horrible especially from the short lady with short hair. Terrible attitude. She even serves other ppl who bought less than us first. Funny that they also gave sample to ppl who didn’t buy anything but didn’t offer us any.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the original location where pharmacist Jean Neuhaus realized that wrapping foul tasting medicine in chocolate ensured patient satisfaction and joy when taking medicine. Then realizing that straight up chocolate, skip the medicine might make him more money! The cabinetry/cupboards are original to the pharmacy that was once located at this address. Beautiful stop. And delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing can beat Belgium chocolate! Neuhaus chocolate has been around since 1857. The chocolatier, Jean Neuhaus, invented the praline, a smooth chocolate filled with a soft centre. They make really good chocolate. Not too sweat and not too bitter. Just perfect level of creaminess. There are variety selection of good chocolates in their store that you can choose from.
