★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After all these negative reviews we doubted to go. But we went and we had a great time. We ordered stoofvlees and the cute mini barbeque. Great atmosphere, friendly employees and amazing view!

Do enjoy the authentic sardines and mussles in summer time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most expensive burger of my life, sadly not the most delicious one. Pulled pork meat was good, service okay, fries in mc donald quality (which i consider very bad). Over all 60euro for two burger and a beer and a water is a joke. (edit* After several meals in gent city, old town etc. I drop the rating to one star. Having eaten several times better for 1/3 price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather big restaurant. Parking is not always easy. Staff was friendly. We had the menu which was reasonable priced and tasted good. Wine was higher than average restaurant but we received real quality wine for that amount, according to vivino. I always appreciate that the ratio price quality for wine is respected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful experience here. Sitting at the water, overlooking the boats over a great meal. Definitely worth the title of "best terrace in Ghent".
Our waiter was also very friendly and attentive.
Perfect for a dinner date.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a horrible experience! I think this was the worst service treatment I’ve ever had.
Being in the hospitality business myself, this is unseen. The waiter (a young guy) was extremely rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I totally understand that mistakes can be made in any business operations but how it was handled was terrible, to be honest, shocking. This waiter should not be in this business period.
If you want good service and good food. Go to Patyntje! The crew is fantastic! They know what good service is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With 12 friends we had a birthday dinner after our boat rental. We ordered steak tartare for all of us. The food was perfectly served and the finishing was fantastic.
