 Frankly... there are other establishments in Ostend that are much nicer for a drink.

En plus une terrasse entièrement fermée sans aucune aération ou les fumeurs sont acceptés..ne supportant pas la fumée..nous avons du prendre nos consommations et aller dans la salle intérieure...le serveur semblait contrarié et nous a fait la réflexion que c'était autorisé en terrasse...a mon avis nous n'avons pas la même vision des règles et de la définition de terrasse ouverte.
First and last time...there are other much nicer establishments in Ostend...
In addition, a completely closed terrace without any ventilation where smokers are accepted.. we can't stand the smoke.. we had to take our drinks and go to the interior room... the server seemed upset and made us think that it was was allowed on the terrace... in my opinion we don't have the same vision of the rules and the definition of an open terrace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although our bill exceeded 30 euros and the government strongly advised the catering sector to accept electronic payment methods to stop the spread of Covid-19, they DID NOT accept card payement. I had to walk 50 min through Ostende to find an ATM that wasn't out of service while my friend waited and listened to the bartender's unpleasant remarks about how long it would take me to come back. Overall the staff was rude and in a 2020 pandemic context, I don't get how this type of establishment don't offer to pay by card for bills exceeding 30 euros.
