Chef Ale is a volcano of ideas, a creative genius constantly experimenting (despite having some iconic signature dishes that he periodically proposes, such as his caponata, to mention just one of them), who at the same time makes you feel at home with his down-to-earth attitude. Maria Concetta in the front of house welcomes and serves the clients with warmth, care and attention and so does the rest of the team. Whether you are nostalgic for prime quality Italian ingredients and recipes or you want to try something different from the traditional Italian menus offered out of Italy, whether the occasion is casual or formal, Miranda is the right address.

We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and we were positively surprised by the high quality of food and of the service. The menu is not long, and you understand why by the freshness of the food they use. I had poached egg for starter, which was great. It took a bit long to arrive as the first egg broke in the cooking so they had to make a new one. But they came to tell us right away and served us some nice appetizer while we waited. My boyfriend took the breaded anchovies which were super tasty! For main course I got the seafood pasta (very good) and he got the ragu', you could tell that everything was freshly made. The service was great during the whole dinner! I've learned they have a brunch option on the weekend for 25EUR, and I look forward to trying that too!

Thanks to his skills and the amazing quality of the products he uses, every bite is an explosion of flavours and a unique experience. I have longed to find such a place in Brussels, where eating out becomes an exciting travel between tradition and innovation and where all senses are awaken. The place is cosy with attention to every beautiful detail and Concetta Miranda the perfect host, with her friendliness and knowledge about food and wine. Long live Miranda!

The menu is always changing, with the chef using his creativity and skill (both of which he has in abundance) to combine typical Lucanian specialities with seasonal local produce, sometimes adding fusion elements from elsewhere around the world. The results are delicious and beautifully presented, making this restaurant in my opinion one of the top restaurants in Brussels. The "front of house" team are friendly and responsive, even during peak hours. They are happy to make recommendations and accommodate all kinds of dietary requirements and preferences. It is evident they take real pride in their service. If you are looking for a top-quality Italian dining experience in Brussels, this is the place to go!
