Ce monument, en céramique sur socle en pierre bleue, a été dressé en 1995 à l'initiative du Comité des Arméniens de Belgique sur la base des plans de l'architecte Isabelle Jakhian. Il a été inauguré en novembre 1997.
A monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, ordered by the Ottoman rulers in 1915, stands in the center of the square. This monument, ceramic on blue stone pedestal, was drawn up in 1995 at the initiative of the Committee of Armenians of Belgium on the basis of the plans of the architect Isabelle Jakhian. It was inaugurated in November 1997.
