Melkerij Peerdsbos | Welkom in één van de meest historische cafés van Antwerpen. Van 1420 tot 1920 was de Bremdockhoeve bedrijvig als boerderij. De huidige gebouwen dateren van omstreeks 1630. Rond de eeuwwisseling begon men melk, limonade, bier en brood te verkopen aan de bezoekers en wandelaars. Terwijl u geniet van een hapje en een drankje genieten u kinderen in de grote en veilige speeltuin of spelen een spelletje minigolf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy to enjoy the first days of sunshine, as usual. Way to crowded, no service and hardly room to go get your own drinks with grumpy crew to try and deal with, also as usual. Pricey for what it is, but nonetheless an elaborate menu and the kids enjoy the playground.

It's really an old-fashioned Tavern, like we used to have in the old days. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm, the food is great and not too expensive. If the weather is good, it *will* be busy here, you might have to stand in line for a while when getting drinks.
The playground is nice and surrounded by benches so dad and mum can enjoy a good beer while the kids are running about. My kids love it too. This is definitely one of the nicer places to go in the north of Antwerp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect spot in the spring and summer to enjoy the sun and let your kid run around. The playground is epic. And there are lots of cute little bars and restaurants. The surrounding forest and fields are nice for a walk or bike ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a drink outside on the terrace on a weekday. Roomy, good service, nice playground for the kids. It was nice and relaxing, but on public holidays, this place gets very crowded and depending on your preference, this can impact your experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place for a short stop, drink, snack when walking in the nearby forest. Perfect menu choices available for anything ranging from a drink up to fill fledged meal. However, had to wait for over 40 minutes for a waiter to even take our order, hence the 3/5. when it's cold... don't sit outside, better sit inside or in the heated veranda. On a sunny spring day, be prorated to wait. Else, this a must go destination, worth a detour.

The service is okay, drinks are a bit expensive, food is great. 4/5 would go again.
