★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik ben zelf uit ethisch standpunt tegen vrijwel alle kinderboerderijen en zoos, maar was compleet verbaasd over hoe goed het gesteld is bij Mekkerland. We hadden Mekkerland iets groter ingeschat, maar dat maakte niet. Het kindje waar we mee waren (1.5 jaar) heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt en alle dieren hebben genoeg ruimte. Heel goed ook dat de konijnen niet opgepakt mogen worden, konijnen zijn prooidieren die vinden opgepakt en geknuffeld worden helemaal niet fijn. Supertof! Ik heb intens genoten van ons vegan chocomelkje en de gastvrijheid. Kan niets anders zeggen dan aan te raden voor personen met kinderen!
I myself am against almost all petting zoos and zoos from an ethical point of view, but was completely surprised at how well things are at Mekkerland. We had estimated Mekkerland to be slightly larger, but that didn't matter. The child we were with (1.5 years) had a great time and all the animals have enough space. It is also very good that the rabbits may not be picked up, rabbits are prey animals that find being picked up and cuddled not at all nice. Super awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed our vegan chocolate milk and the hospitality. Can't say anything but recommended for persons with children!

Really nice outing for the kids, nice and close. With a very nice goal. Nice initiative! And good idea that the sandpit is covered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a cosy place made for an afternoon with family and friends. We saw 2 cuddly sheep, 3 friendly goats, 3 fuzzy rabbits and a couple of cozy chicken. A kid friendly outside bar next to some swings and a sandbox in the shade attend to the needs of grownups and small kids alike.
