β β β β β I received corrective eye surgery in December 2020 with Dr. Van Cleynenbreugel, which has been a great experience. From the first appointment to see if I was eligible until the last follow up in February, I felt very well taken care of. They offered clear guidance on what to expect, what were the possible temporary discomforts and made me feel comfortable enough to ask any question. I have a complicated schedule and they were flexible in figuring out what worked best. This is a very qualitative centre and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a corrective eye surgery.

β β β β β I chose Dr. Hugo Van Cleynenbreugel, for my eye laser, and I certainly would recommend the clinic. He and his team make me feel secured and in good hands. Compared to the place my husband chose for his operation, which seemed like you were a number and a lot of people being treated one after the other. Here is a relaxing environment, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my turn, they explain things perfectly, any question and doubt was solved and most importantly, I am not wearing glasses!
If you are looking for a place which treats you well, same prices and good results, you will not be disappointed.

β β β β β I did Relex smile treatment almost three months ago and my vision is very good now. The surgery is fast and painless. The recovery after the surgery is also very fast (took 1~2 days for me to get back to work). I will absolutely recommend it!

β β β β β I opted for the ReLEx Smile procedure here at Medifocus and two months on I am very happy with the results.
The operation itself only took a few minutes and by the next day life could resume as normal (+ eyedrops & sunglasses). Over the next few weeks the vision continued to improve and stabilize to the point where I don't really need eyedrops anymore. No superpowers yet but I remain patiently hopeful...
Due to the great work of the team and the survival of her subject (me) my girlfriend deemed the experiment a success and mustered the courage to get the same procedure done on herself. It also went off without a hitch.
Now we both enjoy a short game of "can you read that from here" every now and then. For now I am still in the lead.

β β β β β About two months ago, I've had a ReLEx smile. The doctor and his assistant were very kind and explained very clearly how everything would happen and what steps would be required before and after the surgery. The operation itself lasted only a few minutes and without any pain. After already a week I could see as good as with my glasses. This operation is probably the best decision I took in many years and really has changed my day to day life! I would really recommend anyone that has the budget to go for it. It will really impact a lot of aspects of your life!

β β β β β Contrary to many opinions, I had a very bad experience. Quite expensive and I didnβt get the medical information I deserved to receive. The ophthalmologist had no patience, no interest for standard care and was laking the proper Patient-Health Care Professional communication skills. Time to follow a training, surgery is one thing, communicating with patients another thing that needs to be trained if natural skills are not present.

β β β β β I can wholeheartedly recommend this place, should you make up your mind getting your eyes fixed (no more glasses, lenses!). Very professional environment, impeccable attitude from the staff. the surgery went very well, only a matter of 15 minutes. insignificant discomfort after the treatment, space technology. go for it :)

β β β β β Two months ago I got the ReLEx Smile treatment and it was the best decision of my life. Before this treatment I had about -3 in both eyes and struggled every day with lenses and glasses. So I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Van Cleynenbreugel at Medifocus.
After a very professional and comprehensive preliminary examination by him and his assistent, we went for the ReLex smile method two weeks later.
The day of the treatment went very smooth because they talked my through the whole process. Everything was clear and well explained which gave me a very relaxed and confident feeling. First a few quick eye checks and then the laser treatment. The laser and the surgery by Dr. Van Cleynenbreugel were very fast (about 2min/eye) and painless.
After, my vision was a bit blurry but it recovered VERY fast! I was able to see very well from far distances that same evening. Near side took a bit longer which made it sometimes difficult to read computer and phone screens. After a day or two I really noticed a difference and it got better every day. I also had no issues with pain or dry eyes.
After the treatment I had a few more checks with Dr. Van Cleynenbreugel and his assistent to make sure everything was healing well. Now, my eyesight is the best that it has ever been and I am very satisfied with the results.
To sum everything up, it was a very professional and comfortable experience and I would recommend it to everyone.
