Les pâtes d'hier étaient une petite tuerie - nous reviendrons pour la cuisine et aussi pour l'ambiance !! A simple concept: every evening, an antipasto, a pasta dish and two desserts, accompanied by a list of natural wines! Yesterday's pasta was a killer - we will be back for the food and also for the ambiance !!

A éviter, il y a tellement mieux a Bruxelles... Only one choice of dish but yet slow and poor value for money. Choice of wine by the glass limited, not very generous and not convincing. Poor service. Avoid, there is so much better in Brussels...

Oscar Van Goidtsnoven, à côté de l’Altitude Cent (oui, c’est bien vous, pas un autre restaurant). J’aurai du me fier à ma première impression. Le service est lent et un peu prétentieux (avec le faux accent Italien en prime), l’attitude condescendante… Mon impression générale, les 2 fois, est qu’il n’y a pas d'attention aux demandes des client-e-s, pas de générosité dans les portions (antipasti, vin, pâtes). Aucun prix affiché, quasi aucun choix de vin au verre malgré les rangées de bouteilles disposées dans le restaurant. Après une heure d’attente pour le seul et unique plat du jour tout à fait moyen, il y avait quand même un erreur dans la commande ! Et pour bien terminer, il était impossible de payer l'addition (bien salée) par carte... After an unconvincing first experience, I wanted to give a second chance to Mangiavino, located Av. Oscar Van Goidtsnoven, next to Altitude Cent (yes, that's you, not another restaurant). I should have trusted my first impression. The service is slow and a little pretentious (with the fake Italian accent as a bonus), the condescending attitude… My general impression, both times, is that there is no attention to customer requests, no generosity in the portions (antipasti, wine, pasta). No price displayed, almost no choice of wine by the glass despite the rows of bottles arranged in the restaurant. After an hour of waiting for the one and only completely average dish of the day, there was still an error in the order! And to finish, it was impossible to pay the bill (very salty) by card...

Super recommandations de la bar des gérants. Service nickel. A simple but appealing concept. An antipasto, the dish of the day with a vegetarian alternative and two delicious desserts. All this accompanied by a natural wine list! Great recommendations from the bar managers. Nickel service.

I’d have preferred to have a menu or some kind of blackboard with the different wine options. We received two glasses of red wine already filled... this could be okay for a Belgian bar with low quality wines but not for a place like this, at their prices. Next time I’d suggest to fill up the glasses at the table and tell more about the the wine itself. Their “aperitivo tagliere” was fine, small portions. The place has potential but was too expensive for me.
