★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Une maison de tradition. Les biscuits, spéculoos, cakes, pain d'épices, brioches, cramiques et autres pains à la Grec sont vraiment délicieux. Dandoy sait aussi se mettre au goût du jour, par exemple avec des cookies (également délicieux) et des galettes des rois (pas encore essayées). Le tout est pur sucre et pur beurre, et c'est certaienemnt la raison pour laquelle c'est si bon! Mais, donc, si vous faites un régime, passez votre chemin ? ou, mieux, prenez une boîte de biscuits pour offrir. Je trouve le packaging très réussi. Le service est diligent.
A house of tradition. The cookies, speculoos, cakes, gingerbread, brioches, cramiques and other Greek breads are really delicious. Dandoy also knows how to update himself, for example with cookies (also delicious) and galettes des rois (not yet tried). Everything is pure sugar and pure butter, and that is certainly the reason why it is so good! But, so, if you are on a diet, go your way - or better yet, grab a box of cookies as a gift. I find the packaging very successful. The service is diligent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maison Dandoy was a delightful respite from the crowded streets in Brussels. Yes, you can buy Brussels-style waffles for 1 euro each on almost any street corner but we enjoyed visiting this quaint shop to taste the local specialties that helped shape its long and storied history.
I ordered a Brussels-style waffle with confectioner’s sugar with a side order of Chantilly cream. It was incredibly light and crispy and its batter delicious, unlike any waffle I had ever eaten before.
