Slow service, wrong order delivered, some delicious food but served with 1.5 hours delay, bad experience overall. Addition to the original review after restaurant 's answer : Next time please tell me what to order to make your life easier, pointless to give me the menu if 8 different plates is too complicated, either hire staff or change profession, Ciao! 2nd addition: the more you reply the more degradation you get, try to adapt to reality, currently it seems that you live in your own planet, I have never seen a restaurant that it gives reviews to itself as a customer, yes I am surprised as the carnival has not started yet..

The restaurant is located in an old building, and the owners have retained a lot of the rustic charm. A small menu, with an emphasis on seasonal offerings makes decision-making easy. Everything I have tried has been delicious, and their suggestions add to the selection. A decent selection of wines as well. Charming, unpretentious, and great service.

Homemade fresh food, very nice atmosphere in an old nice house located in a calm area, by Wolvendael park. Friendly staff and real Italian cook offering traditional and not so commonly found regional Italian recipes. Good selection of wines -including the vin maison (Italian as well) at a very correct price-, very good starters too, on top of generous mains. Overall, a great experience for those looking for an Italian experience in a special place; not as commercial as others, but as good as them and adding a precious feeling of being home.

The owner and waitress were kind and the service was quick, but the food, not so much. The pasta was very oily and not very refined, the cocktails were not mixed properly. I don’t like writing a review like this, because I feel the it was made with the best intentions, but dishes were simply awful. The pandemic has been hard on all restaurants, but I don’t believe that it warrants the state of interior. Musky smell, old paint, dust and cobwebs… some paint and a clean would go a long way. A real shame as the old building has a charm.

Very tasty Italian food. I love their Pasta Vongole! And they make the best Zabaione. Very sweet owners! I'll be back.

I think this restaurant has seen better days. Went in for the first time today because when we passed from outside on a sunny day it looked quaint. When you enter, it is stuffy and smells like an old bar. The woman was polite enough and let us decide the table since there were not many people there. We then decided to play it safe and ordered tagliolini with truffle and ravioli with spinach and ricotta. They both tasted bad, probably the worst “Italian” food I have ever had. This place feels like it comes straight from the TV show Kitchen Nightmares and you expect Gordon Ramsay to come out and take the food and throw it away. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. We ate the food to be polite, paid the bill and got out as fast as we could. The 1 star goes for the outside of the building. Do yourself a favour and avoid it! Unfortunately it seems like the chef that got the great reviews before has left the building… There was also an incident where there was a massive fly ? flying over our table all the time and we were trying to get rid of it. So we opened the window. After a while the waitress informed us that it is a historical building and the police gets an alarm signal if we open the window. True or not I don’t know, but then why not put a small sign on the window saying “Please do not open”. That explains at least the bad smell in the restaurant.

Really cosy and charming lil restaurant in the heart of Uccle! We had sea bass and pasta a la vongole that were delicious. The waitress was friendly and fast and the place was clean and neat. Really tasty experience with a warm and family-like atmosphere. Definitely, great value for your money and we will surely return!
