★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lizzie's Wafels were extra large, tasty and crispy as promised. However, there were downfalls throughout the experience. Firstly, the milk served with tea appeared to be curdled with white flakes. On the other hand, the cappuccino was excellent. Secondly, when ordering two chocolate sauces we were advised that one is plenty for two of us. So we agreed to share one pot of sauce. Strangely, when reading through the bill, we were charged for two of the chocolate sauce. On top of this, our receipt included two servings of whipped cream which we had not ordered. This could've been a simple error, however, when the hostess read through our bill prior to payment, she skipped over the whipped cream (5€), perhaps assuming that we don't understand as we were speaking in English. Lucky for us, we are well aware of what "Slagroom" means. At Lizzie's Wafels you will definitely be greeted with a smile, friendly conversation and pleasant atmosphere. The wafels won't leave you disappointed, but make sure you read through your bill before payment as you might lose a couple euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely amazing!!! Hands down the best waffle I ever had. And look at the size of that thing! They serve the toppings of your choice with the waffle and the portions are as generous as the waffle ;)
Elizabeth (owner with her husband) is a very warm, funny and friendly host who takes time to make you feel welcome.
Her husband bakes the waffles all day and you can tell he does this with love.
If you come to Bruges and want a Belgian waffle, there is absolutely no other place I would recommend more. Head out to Lizzie'e Wafels and have the perfect experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A MUST FOR WAFFLES. Best waffles ever! Wish they would open earlier to have them for breakfast ?. Portion is huge and the toppings make it even better especially the whipped cream ?. We got lucky and we’re able to get ours to go not long before closing.
