★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a fun festival for all ages; you see all ages and social class enjoying music together. The setting is amazing: while the terrain is compact and cozy, you can walk a bit further out to see the water and "Het Zuid" with typical water breeze while the music carries over to you. People end up lounging here and having a general pleasant buzz.
The food, however, is ridiculously expensive: 2.50€ / consumption ticket while you get charged 3 tickets for anything edible.
It is tasty and fresh "hip" food, but at the price and the quantities it's a bit too much. The prices seem to rise each year and come across as greedy. The only person charging reasonably was the ice-cream stand charging only half a ticket a scoop. Understandably, they run out of stock really fast.
