You can get great stuff very cheaply but there are poor quality goods there too
If you put the work in checking out which is which it is unbeatable for value for value for money.
Can recommend the croissants. Other bakery stuff nice but doesn't keep well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lidl has a nice range of products (even if most are from its own production). The main advantage here is for the ones who like to buy in large amounts.
Meat and vegetables have good quality and present a very nice value for money in the large packages/sacks. Products from the fridge and freezer are also cheap.
Lidl presents since cheap products until some "high-quality" ones, including some cheeses and ham.
It is also good for buying house cleaning products.
