Boulangerie Levain - Levain - Levain.eu

Après un début de carrière dans la finance et les centres commerciaux, j’ai décidé de me reconvertir en artisan-boulanger. J’ai effectué une formation intensive dans le sud de la France à l’Ecole internationale de boulangerie qui est spécialisée dans le pain bio au levain naturel. Durant cette formation, j’ai aussi eu l’occasion d’effectuer quelques stages en France et à Londres pour découvrir différents modèles de boulangerie.

J’ai décidé d’ouvrir une boulangerie dans mon quartier à côté de Mérode pour offrir du plaisir aux amateurs de bons pains.
Ma plus belle récompense est le sourire du client lorsqu’il se réjouit de venir acheter un bon pain et qu’il sent cette bonne odeur de pain frais tout juste sorti du four.

Ma démarche s’inscrit dans un désir de retrouver une alimentation saine basée sur de bons produits créés à partir d’ingrédients simples sans oublier quelques douceurs pour le moral!

Great bakery with bread they make which is more humid than regular breads which I think is great and tasty. The bread also lasts much longer and doesn’t dry out as fast really loved that! Vincent also does a lot of other stuff which is delicious much appreciated thanks for all the hard work. Keep it up I ll be back soon!

I didn't see the bio reference.. honestly they can do really better, the pain au chocolat are not made with good homemade pate feuilletée. The cinnamon rolls could be better, the dough lack of air, flavor.. taste more like a industrial brioche dough... I invite the bakery to poste pictures of their way of producing their products and ingredients used ( bio flour?) because from my point of view it looks like more already mixed dough bought from a chain production...

Very nice bakery with bread with levain as the name says. The campaign bread are very good. On big plus for a few is they do a no-gluten bread (rice and sarasin) + a one that is yummy with chocolate (rice bread with chocolate). Really good.

For me, maybe the best bakery that I've found so far in Belgium. It's making me actually go back and downgrade several other bakeries that I've given 5 stars to down to 4-stars, because I think it actually sets the bar pretty high in terms of quality. Really nice breads!
