★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place in Leuven to study! They have special tables for students during the exam period (+ offering water). It is not as crowded as in the other libraries.
Large collection of music and dvd's as well. The first floor is usually more quiet than the ground floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large library with a decent amount of books and a good working online catalogue. Very friendly staff except the closets can be a bit tricky. Just have a lock and key, simple way of closets. Nothing fancy because if you have been doing research from 10-5 you tend to be a bit groggy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to study as a student. Especially since the more popular libraries such as Agora are full all the time. Bring ear plugs however, kids tend to make quite a bit of noise during some portions of the day.
Nice selection of reading material for all ages as well.

Children like to come here to borrow books, and there are storytelling activities before Corona.

Big selection, also a good place for reading or studying.
The kids section is really fun. There's also a changing table for baby's.
You can drink or eat something at the café below.
Some period in summer there's also a bouncy castle outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff isn't always friendly. Always staring at you and suspecting you do things, even when you don't. Hard to feel at ease. They chase you away when you sit down for a minute.
It's a shame. They seem to have a big amount of books in different genres but it will be a nice library once the staff stops acting so bluntly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and big library, a bit hard to find the entrance as it is not marked that clearly in my opinion, but it's usually quite calm and there is a pretty wide range of books, comics, cds and DVDs (also in English).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend time. Free WiFi. But for some strange reason, they have a piano in the main lobby that is free for the public to use. And use it they do.
