★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Review is from my time I was in the U. S. Air Force stationed at Bas J Offenburg or other wise known as Florennse Air Base from 1986 thru 1988.
The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, there was a bus stop at the base of the hill side. The town of Hastiere was very pleasant and the people were very helpful and friendly. Saturdays near the bridge was a kind of farmers market with antiques, food and flower vendors. One could sit a people watch, drink coffee, taste the local cuisine. All of which were excellent. Try the beers and wines. You will be very happy you spent time there and its very well located to travel throughout the beautiful countryside.
