★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After spending several days in bustling city hotels, pulling into this cozy B&B in the quaint town of Vielsalm was a lovely change of pace. The owner welcomed my husband and I with a glass of wine before showing us to our room. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but the weather in late August was pleasant and we were able to open the windows at night to let in some fresh, cool air. Breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning. We were in town for the Formula 1 race in Spa, and had a free day before activities at the track began. The owner recommended we visit a museum dedicated to the Spa circuit, and a Battle of the Bulge museum in nearby towns. Both were excellent suggestions! The B&B is also only 16 km from the Luxembourg border, so we crossed the border for dinner two nights during our stay. The owner also provided us an easy, less congested route to the track (about 35 minutes) which took us right to our parking area. This B&B was just the right distance outside of Spa during the hustle and bustle of race weekend. What a fantastic place!
