Unser Fleisch war leider zäh, auch nach nochmaligem Versuch wurde uns erneut Fleisch serviert, das dieses Mal sogar roh war. Eine absolute Katastrophe. Der Service (die zwei Töchter der Besitzers (?)) haben ihr Bestes gegeben, leider retten, konnten sie nichts mehr. Wir haben schnell bezahlt und uns auf keine Diskussionen mehr eingelassen, da uns vorgeworfen wurde, dass wir doch vorab hätten sagen sollen, wie wir unser Fleisch haben wollten. Sehr schade, denn wir hatten uns sehr gefreut. Ich kann dieses Etablissement absolut nicht empfehlen. Für das dortige Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis war das Ergebnis sehr enttäuschend. Schade!:( Our visit to the hut was unfortunately a disappointment. We had the mix grill plate. Unfortunately, our meat was tough, even after trying again we were served meat again, this time even raw. An absolute disaster. The service (the owner's two daughters (?)) Did their best, unfortunately they couldn't save anything. We paid quickly and did not enter into any further discussions, as we were accused of saying that we should have said in advance how we wanted our meat. It's a shame, because we were very happy. I absolutely cannot recommend this establishment. For the price-performance ratio there, the result was very disappointing. Pity!:(

Si les plats de la carte "principale" sont bons, nous avons été déçus par la fondue savoyarde qui était pauvre en fromage et sans aucun accompagnement à l'exception des quelques morceaux de pains ! De plus, le service a été très long, saccadé et avec des oublis : nous avons par exemple reçu nos boissons alors que nous avions fini de manger. The setting of the restaurant is very pretty, the decoration and the interior are charming. If the dishes on the "main" menu are good, we were disappointed by the Savoyard fondue which was low in cheese and without any accompaniment except for a few pieces of bread! In addition, the service was very long, jerky and with oversights: for example, we received our drinks when we had finished eating.

De Franse chef (Vendée) kennt goed zijn vak en is ook een grappige goedlachse man. Zijn tomates crevettes waren uitstekend. Ik heb daar een stuk steak (het beruchte bœuf d'Ennal) gegeten, dit wordt rauw geserveerd op een super heet steen en bakt van zelf heel lang voor u neus. Heerlijk!!! Je mag het zelf bleu, saignant, à point laten worden, het smaakt super! En is mals vlees. Frietjes, verschillende soorten mayonaise worden door de chef zelf gemaakt. Mijn vrouw heeft een assortiment grill vlees gegeten alles was top! Gezellige sfeer hier tussen de wildernis van de Ardeense bergen. Een aanrader! Merci patron! Enkel vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag. Je kan daar ook lekkere pannenkoeken eten of gewoon een lokaal pintje drinken. Trouwens het French of Italian coffee (warm) is top. We have lived in chalet Tournedos (Ennal - Vielsalm) 2x, which is next to restaurant Le Cabanon. The French chef (Vendée) knows his trade well and is also a funny man with a good smile. His tomato crevettes were excellent. There I ate a piece of steak (the infamous bœuf d'Ennal), which is served raw on a super hot stone and bakes itself for a long time in front of you. Delicious!!! You can let it become bleu, saignant, à point yourself, it tastes great! And is tender meat. Fries, different types of mayonnaise are made by the chef himself. My wife has eaten an assortment of grilled meats everything was top notch! Cozy atmosphere here between the wilderness of the Ardennes mountains. Recommended! Thanks boss! Only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can also eat delicious pancakes there or just drink a local beer. By the way, the French or Italian coffee (warm) is great.

M	Matej Pazdič on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice restaurant placed nearly as a surprise in beautifull nature. The waitresses are warm and welcoming. And the trout that we had was fresh and delicious. Really recomended if you are around.
