★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza was average, waitress very nice, but the owner requested us to leave soon after dinner - and shortly after we had ordered a second drink - allegedly the table had a reservation (she could have informed us before ordering - it got a needless hurry that way).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice pizza place in Mechelen. They offer vegan and vegetarian pizza, which gives them a +1 in my book. The pizzas themselves are very nice as, with a crispy thin crust and fresh ingredients.
The interior isn't the best, but it's definitely a work-in-progress. We sat on rickety chair and the details in presentation and atmosphere weren't quite there yet. I think they're well on their way, though!
The pricing is on the expensive side, but you're getting value for that money in return.
Nice personnel as well, very friendly and open. You'll be able to pay by card here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experiences at this pace vary drastically. The first time I went with my British in-laws was nice enough with friendly service and decent food. The second time I went with my own obviously foreign looking family who were visiting went downhill very fast. They do not speak English very well, so I obviously took care of ordering, but the waiting staff was presumably annoyed by the going back and forth with the translation. The change in the level of service was subtle but noticeable.
