★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bed bugs!!!!! Please don't go here, there are many bed bugs in the room. The owner must have been aware as I read (too late) other reviews mentioning bed bugs as well but nothing happened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived too late for the staff and was refused entry. They had clearly gone home early. They claim I wasn't present at the hotel front door, this is a total fabrication. Was forced to find another hotel, luckily an IBIS was just up the street. Even though I didn't stay at the hotel they still to this day refuse to refund my pre-paid room. Disgraceful ownership. Shame on you La Ducale, you thieves. Shame. Here's the nonsense that was sent to me the evening of my arrival. Is booking here a risk you;re willing to take? I wouldn't recommend it. The IBIS up the street is far better value and holds much nicer views.

After I send you my previous email, took me more than hour before I fell asleep.I was not relax because of you and I still have been waiting to here the bell on the door. I am sorry to tell you, but you didn't bell on the door.I have checked the camera recording of my door but I didn't see you in front of my door. About the signage, there is a big sign B§B, big nr 54. We are situated in the most beautiful and central street in Gent and every day average of 15 people have not any problem to find me.
