★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrogant boss..women are friendly enough though.. i’m historian, and do a lot research in Antwerp. So I popped by and the staff was great., manager not really a spokesman for the people. Sadly Antwerp people are still set in their own ways.. at least there was a chemist on the Lange Leemstraat , who where very helpful and the are a lot in the neighborhood.

There seemed to be a discrepancy between the price advertised and the price charged.When feeling cheated and wanting to return the product as soon as I stepped out of the pharmacy, to my surprise, I was interrogated in a rather unpleasant way as to why I wanted to return the item.I get that there may have made a mistake made by the staff with the prices and mistakes do happen and also that policies in Belgium are different than in North America, where the customer is free to return items without any kind of discussion. However, but this unpleasant scrutiny I was subjected to, coupled with this dismissive treatment, did not make me feel good, in fact it left a bitter taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pharmacy is modern and has a big selection. The pharmacist serving me today however refused to give me a bag to put my purchase in, as she claimed my purchase was "too small". I'd assume that a purchase of €15 isn't too small to include a bag... So my verdict is that the customer service is lacking, which is a shame as the pharmacy is actually good.
