β β β β β A small piece of Syria in Gent. Many products as you are used to buy in the Souq. The shop also has very good Arab bread and you can also buy fresh halawa with pistachio and around 13:00 the owner is furnished with just-made fataya...heel lekker!

My friends and I faced the same problem, extra false charge.
There is a variety in products and it is more expensive comparing with similar shops.

β β β β β As a person from middle east, I could find the material I needed for cooking. It's Syrian shop ( Arabic shop) but it has persian (Iranian) food also. Iranian , Indian and Pakistani rice also. "BUT" it's unorganised shop. Most of items doesn't have price tag and you need to ask one by one and funny thing is sometimes the seller doesn't know also. She telephoned someone else to ask. And the shop is messy. So you need something that you can not find somewhere else, you don't have other choice. but if you can find your needed products in other shop , I recommend you to do not try this shop.
