However, the evening became very unpleasant due to the deplorable and terribly arrogant attitude of the manager/owner. She was just rude and full of herself 'we don't need you as customers, go some place else, my restaurant is full even without you'...Horrible service. And that only for some questions around the seating...regrettable. Note: her staff were on the contrary friendly and helpful. Now, you might think we were four extremely difficult customers...not the case! We had dinner two weeks earlier in Mondieu in Koksijde: great kitchen, great chef and extremely friendly service. I would not recommend Julia Fish & Oysterbar to anyone, only if you like being offended and yelled at...

Long wait, dishes that have no taste of the fish used. Thai soft crabs that only burn your lips. Tuna that is damn cold and tastes only of vanilla. Seafood that taste just of garlic, rubber and wine. I would not go back even if it were free.

Friendly personal and top explanation of the menu card by the passionate lady (I suppose she was the owner). We’ve been with a couple of friends, so we could share each dish, and we were surprised by the starter “gefrituurde paling”, that saus was something ?! Everything was delicious! You do get quality for the money you pay.
