★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best truffles and liege waffles in Ghent! Each time I visit Ghent Juffrouw Strik is definitely on my list.
In the warmer months they have chairs and tables outside so you can sit and enjoy your hot chocolate, waffles and coffee. In the winter it is predominantly a chocolate shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible waffle. Looked nice but a far cry from the world known Belgium waffles. Badly cooked and also bad service. I complained to the staff about the fact the mine was raw inside but we did not want to get any discount or another. Simply to help them by being aware. The woman at the cashier was extremely rude and completely ignored our comments. Some other episodes happened that indicated how inattentive the service was but not worth mentioning here. Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has probably been the slowest service I have ever experienced! Sat down and ordered a small order, waited for more than half an hour. Two coffees and two mediocre and cold waffles for 20 euros? Never again! This is obviously a tourist trap, do not recommend. What a shame for this location.
