False advertising / worst experience / horrible outcome I negotiated the purchase of a watch through Chrono24. I asked the following questions from this so called β€œTrusted Dealer”: - any scratches? The answer was that the watch was like new. Serviced and polished. - original box and papers? Yes, all included. I received the watch and you could see scratches everywhere. This was confirmed by Jaeger Le-Coultre in Sydney! JLC recommended a service! The box was NOT the original box and β€œpapers” was a card that had a name and no place / year of purchase. I tried to reason with Mr Simon Djanaschwilli without honourable outcome. Chrono24 also tried by suggesting a discount from the price of the watch to address the misrepresented item. No result. What a horrible experience. I will be pursuing this matter with all relevant authorities.

I am currently wearing this Montblanc watch and I can confirm that it is a very nice piece ! I keep the chronograph always running in order to get a "small seconds" function and the resulting animated 3D dial is gorgeous. I am satisfied with purchase and service.

Scam! Purchased an Omega Speedmaster Reduced in "mint condition". I sent it to the official Omega store (Schaap& Citroen in Maastricht). They checked the watch from the inside and checked the papers. The experts at Schaap & Citroen concluded (and provided me with official Omega certificates) that major parts of the watch are replicas and not part of the original watch. The papers were fake so the were completely worthless, the watch was unpolished so not in Mint condition at all. When I told all of this to mister Simon, the response was very little. I am going to the police one of these days to make a case out of this.

I am a huge watch enthusiast and have bought many high end watches from various sellers both retail and private and I can honestly say never in all my years of experience have I ever encountered a more shameful company. My dreadful experience with Joaillerie Royal started last year in July when I purchased a Cartier Santos W20073X8. Upon inspection I noticed the disk was missing after 1 month I got this sent to me. However and more importantly I also noticed that the pins had been entered in the wrong way and after market screws put on the watch. I informed Simone who advised me that they will order the correct pins and send them to me but due to covid there was a delay. After over 6 months and a huge amount of patience from my side I was then told that they won't send me the pins and denied there was anything even wrong with the watch. After reporting them to Chrono they advised me to send the watch to them for inspection. Of course after my shameful experience with them and seeing the lack of urgency in how they operate I was not prepared to do that unless they could confirm a full refund to me to which Simone and his team no longer responded to any of my emails or calls. I have taken the watch to Hatton Garden in London and every jeweller has confirmed this watch can't be fixed without comprising further damage to the watch and damage to the thread to hold the pins. So I am now left with an inadequate watch and no hope of a refund. Absolutely horrendous company. I would advise everyone to avoid making any purchases with them. I will continue to spread the message. I don't wish for anyone to go through my experience. Nothing royal about this company and there warranty isn't worth the paper its printed on. Scott

I had a very honest experience with the shop, namely with the Director - Simon. I was about to buy a set of branded earrings for my wife as a present for the baby birth, but as being second hand, they had some minor issues that Simon told me will be fixed within a day and I left the full amount payment with the full trust. Indeed the issues were fixed the next day, but I expected a different final result and couldn't use it as a gift for such occasion. After some discussions with Simon, he agreed to provide the full reimbursement within 1-2 days on my bank account, though he could refuse as the issues with earrings were technically resolved and the deal was done. As promised, 1 day after I got the full reimbursement and I would like to thank Simon for keeping the promises and being a man of his word! Trust is the most important thing when dealing with second hand luxury items. Thank you !

I think it is unfortunate that the seller responds to negative reviews by writing the 'review is fake'. I wish I had seen these reviews before placing my order because my experience matches theirs, almost identically. I was sold a watch, told that it would arrive by a particular time and that it had been serviced. The watch arrived later than advised, it stopped working twice in the first 48 hours and did not have an original clasp. The manufacturer confirmed that the watch had never been serviced. The manufacturer inspected the watch and also observed that it stopped working after being wound. The seller insisted that I did not understand how mechanical watches work (I'm a 49 year old watch enthusiast). He also sent me on a wild goose chase where he wanted a letter from the manufacturer confirming their observations. Unusually, the manufacturer was willing to do so directly to the seller if the seller contacted the manufacturer. The seller never got in touch. The seller also attempted to flout the European Distance Selling Regulations (the law that governs these transactions) when I invoked my right to return the watch and request a refund. Although he eventually agreed, it was only under threat of legal action. I cannot urge you strongly enough to exercise high caution in buying from this seller, especially if you are buying remotely (as I did). I also urge you to seek independent verification of his claims to ensure that you are not left in a difficult position with someone who is ultimately unprofessional, obdurate and arguably dishonest. The seller has responded by saying "You tried to defraud, you ordered us and received a watch for 2300 € in very good condition, just after you contacted us that the watch had problems and you asked us to refund 600 €, when we asked you a proof that the watch had a problem you threatened to make us a bad advertisement on the internet if we do not refund the 600 € and finally we refused and we took back the watch, you clearly tried to fraud 600 € from us, pay attention to who should do business with this person." This is untrue. Were it the case that the watch works, he would produce evidence of this - he will not, because it does not. Conversely, I have the attached photographs that demonstrate my trip to the boutique verifying my statements. It also indicates a replacement clasp on the basis that the clasp supplied was inauthentic, according to the manufacturer's careful inspection. This is an extremely unusual post for me, but I felt compelled to make it because I genuinely believe the seller to be dishonest and operate in a manner that disregards the law. If the seller says that I have tried to extort 600 Euros from him otherwise I would write a bad review about him, I implore him to produce evidence of this. He will not, because I have not and therefore no such evidence exists. I believe this person to be deeply unpleasant, behave unlawfully and unprofessionally. I am able to support all of this with evidence. Is the seller able to evidence any of his claims?

Fantastic Service and the watch received complied 100% with each description and information given by them. Surely they do not only the meaning of "customer Care" but also what "Understanding Customer's needs" mean. I recommend them without any hesitation Vassilis Ferentouros

Purchased a watch with incomplete bracelet (which was not advertised on their website) and then they asked me for additional money to send me the rest of the endlinks. Extremely illegal and fraudulent false advertising. Please avoid this seller.
