β β β β β Great place for food and beer. Take the brewery tour and get amazing view over Brugge. Brouweij de halve maan is an institution of belgian family breweries and produces top quality. Tourist attraction for sure - but in a very genuine and tasteful way

β β β β β Mandatory stop if you are in Bruges and like beer, it's the home of the famous Straffe Hendrick and Brugse Zot beers. We just stopped for a couple of drinks, and I wholeheartedly recommend to try the wild tripel.

We visited the brewery during our Brugge trip and booked online in advance. We came about 45 minutes before the start of the tour. This turned out to be a great idea because the lunch at the brewery restaurant was lovely. All facilities are kept clean and the whole appearance of the area is nice, couldnβt be more center. The tour itself was lovely, a great guide who explained the entire history and process in detail. We were able to go to different floors and had ample opportunity to ask questions or take photos. The rooftop of the building is greatly situated for some photos as well. Obviously, the real highlight of the tour was drinking a fresh beer straight from the brewery. It did not pass the bottling and filtering plant which makes it the only place in the world where you get to drink an unfiltered Brugse Zot or Straffe Hendrik. Can definitively recommend a visit to the brewery store too for some beers or beer related merchandise.

β β β β β An incredibly detailed brewery tour that takes you through a fusion of modern and old brewing techniques. You also get a great view of the city during the tour and at the end get to try your choice of unfiltered (or non-alcoholic) beer! I would highly recommend this brewery, bar, and tour.
