Very friendly couple runs the hotel and that gives you all the info about Antwerp .
Breakfast (in a art nauveau room) included.
Quiet.
Public transport (tram&bus) just in front of the hotel to the center in 10 min.
In 2019 the owners changed . Pitty because they were great ! but it is still ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful building and incredibly spacious and historic rooms. Breakfast is tasty with lovely Belgian breadrolls.
The owners are lovely, genuine people who make you feel very welcome. I always try to stay here when I am in Antwerp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked staying here. Pros: clean, very awesome helpful staff. Cons: no mesh on the windows, the mosquitoes ate me for every night I was there. Too south to be close to the real city center. I'd recommend staying here because it's good for the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a decent room, small, without shower (shared in the hallway) but hey. It was low priced. Especially for the location: 20 mins walk to the historic city centre! Service was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a budget hotel is very comfortable, it's basic but the staff are super friendly and the rooms are well proportioned. The reception area is really grand and quite a sight in itself.
Warning though there's a really lovely dog but she's rather large and can get startled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel near the Museum for Fine Arts, (partly) built in Art Nouveau style. The ground floor also has a Japanese room. The rooms on the upper floor were modern, clean and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somebody (presumably staff because our door was locked) stole a passport and a watch from our room during our stay. Even if it wasn't staff, I wouldn't recommend leaving any valuables in your hotel room here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind and professional staff that were available for any questions we may have had. Great location and the rooms are way nicer than what you expect for a 1-star Hotel. Could have used a bit of maintenance within the bathroom. But it was not a major issue and if this was in order the price (which was quite reasonable) would have been way higher. Great location near to a lot of eateries and a 15 minute walk to the centre.
