★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was really bad: Old and very poorly maintained building, oily bath (was unable to get it clean), desk chair so dirty I didn't even want to touch it. We had a "family room", it's a slightly larger room with a terrible sleeping couch that has lots of metal sticking out everywhere and was so uncomfortable you don't even want to sit on it! Never seen a hotel this misrepresented by its pictures online!
TL;DR - Avoid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nicely located hotel near het Zwin, a beautiful nature area, and the sea. Nice helpful receptionist and good food nearby. A private parking at the back of the hotel. Room was good. We enjoyed our stay there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ample parking spots, allows dogs, rooms and beds where comfortable and breakfast was great!
They have a good pool and sauna and are about 25 minutes from the beach by foot, a lot less by bike.
Friendly staff too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near The Swin, the location is ideal for walks in the countryside, in the Swin and at the beach. During Covid19, a bit complicated to get lunch and dinner as the hotel only provided breakfast in room service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In November we paid 195 euros for a standard room that was terribly shabby and not renovated ! A ripp-off. We were next to a room that had been converted in dinner room (Covid-19) so coming and going from 7 to 10 pm of different families making noise. We had to turn the TV on to not hear everything that was going on. Tiny swimming pool full of shouting kids until closing time. As from 7 am loud kids in the hallway that hop from room to room banging the doors. Breakfast was ok but not homemade. The only thing positive is the location and the parking space. They must pay someone good money to keep the 4 stars. I'm not sure it's a 3.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and well located hotel very close to the Zwin and Cadzand. There is a bike rental next door also, which could be handy (if didn't bring yours or need a fix), as using bike for everything around is just fun. The swimming pool, sauna and table tennis are a nice ? on the cake to relax end of day or for an early morning alternate activity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location for a getaway weekend. The natural reservation is a few minutes away by car as well as the beach.
The chamber was clean and spacious, breakfast was tasty with various choices, quality service during corona and very polite and friendly staff members.
Also the fact that they accept animals it's an advantage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and very friendly professional service and breakfast was very good with a solid selection of food. Yes, it has a charm. Bad: rooms are very dated and cheaply renovated. Bits are falling off the skirting and other places... zero noise insulation in the rooms means zero privacy. Expensive for that quality. No airco.
