★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was modest but perfectly fine with a comfortable bathtub. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Parking meter in front of the hotel a bit of a hassle but then I found free parking down the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you like honest people, don't book in this hotel. We did a phone reservation with a confirmed price. At checkout they just added 25 EUR. The "economy room" cost us 10 EUR less than a suite in a nearby hotel. We could barely move in the room, nor use the bathroom decently (no space whatsoever). My home bathroom is larger than the bedroom we got for way too much money. Small is not bad, but paying too much for it, is a rip off. they claim themselves the building is old but charge too much for their rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel du Soleil. We found the staff very friendly and helpful; the family room was super clean and really practical for our needs (as a family of four), and the location quiet and very convenient: we enjoyed a long walk on the beach to visit the downtown area, and were happy to come back to the quietness of the hotel and its surroundings. We also enjoyed the sunset at the nearby beach café. Both the dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the general atmosphere relaxed and friendly. We would recommend Hotel du Soleil without hesitation, and do intend to come back.
