★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and flexible staff in a good atmosphere, I recommend the restaurant-side seats on the first floor for a good view of this nicely designed restaurant. You can taste the quality of the ingredients in the dishes and although not cheap, it’s value for money.

Horta Grand Café takes up the responsibility no one wants to take. Absolute discrimination against people without Covid Safe Ticket on the outdoor terrace. Outdoors in Belgium customers do NOT require a CST.
Horta Grand Café thought it would be a good idea to apply stricter discriminatory measures than the ones the Belgian government already had in place.
Maybe their food is good. Maybe the drinks are fabulous. I wouldn't know. They wouldn't allow me to try their superior service on the outside terrace.
Avoid. As much as you possibly can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid. The food looks good but it is tired. We had two plates - both we believed had been sitting around and microwaved. No doubt this is a beautiful restaurant, but it’s difficult to say I would recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure why it’s getting good reviews. The day we had lunch, with the exception of the beer, there was nothing worth the expense of dining here.
