Ondanks dat de kamer er wel redelijk en groot uit zag, was de gastheer initiëel kortaf en niet gastvrij. Dit zorgde al direct voor een slechte beleving. Bij het hotel is niks te doen dus je bent op de omgeving aangewezen. Badkamer en met name de douche was slecht. Douchebak liep snel over en badkamer was erg verouderd. Ontbijt was basic. Niet te veel en niet te weinig.

Leuke omgeving, zeker als je graag wil gaan wandelen. Er was niemand aanwezig voor het inchecken, dit was vervangen door een selfcheck in. Beetje onpersoonlijk maar wel zeer gemakkelijk en je bent vlug ingechecked. Lekker ontbijt met alles wat je nodig hebt om de dag goed te starten. Kamer was dringend aan wat vernieuwing toe. Best prijzig voor een gewone kamer.

Er was geen heet water op de kamer en je kon de afvoer ruiken. Hadden een drie gangen menu bij geboekt voor 35€per persoon, maar het was niet de kwaliteit van wat men voor die prijs mag verwachten. Prijs kwaliteit is hier ver te zoeken. Dit kwa kamer en diner.

We vonden het een beetje teleurstellend. Zeer weinig informatie bij het inchecken. Toilet was nog vuil en werkte niet naar behoren. Was wel behulpzaam, maar was niet helemaal opgelost. Kamer kan ook opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Excellent value good accommodation and breakfast superb.

It's a scam. We booked a double room for the Tour de Flanders weekend at Horenbecca Hotel Bistro & Wellness. When we checked in to the hotel, the owner took us to a container park behind the hotel. Our wellness room was a container, with two small beds (see pitcures) in it. A bed was 70cm wide, no idea how one should find a sleep in such a narrow bed. The container wasn't equipped with a bath, a lavatory, WiFi, and a TV was also missing. At nite temperatures dropped to 5°C, and a small heater was everything that should prevent you from get deep frozen. We paid EUR 450 for two nites in a wellness hotel. What we got, was nothing more than shabby cabin with ZERO amenities. It's a SCAM, please don't book this hotel. We decided on the spot to leave the place, and we were very lucky that we found a really nice hotel nearby on the race weekend of Tour de Flanders.

First the good news: Comfertable beds. Good breakfast. Lovely quiet area and clean. The bad news: When you pay 119,00 euro for one night you might expect that there is at least some shampoo/conditioner or some showercream in the bathroom. Besides that, it might be handy to have 1 or more hooks somewhere to hang your bathrope or some other clothing. A glass/cup to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth would have came in handy as well. When taking a shower, the water stopped about every 20 seconds and you had to press the button again and again to have a decent shower. I guess the hotel is trying to save on water but personally I dont think that this is the right way to do it. When we wanted to watch television, there was no remote control in the room and we had to ask for it. The owner was very nonchelant/careless about it. It is clearly advertised that there is WIFI, but there isnt!! Well, not in our room and in the main area the WIFi was bad. About the room...... for that kind of money, you would expect a lot more. Some decorations for example or anything to make it more cosy. There was absolutly no soul into this room. Just a bed/dresser some curtains and a television where 3 channels were watchable from the 8. A kettle to make yourself a cup of tea or coffee or a welcoming note would have been so nice. I dont mind paying for a hotelroom but this was definitly NOT worth 119,00 euro. Very dissapointing.

Stayed here last minute with a friend during the Beer Fest in Oudenaard. Nice quiet getaway from all the partying. The owners are super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We got room #11 which is probably the best room with a big terrace overlooking the garden. We enjoyed sun bathing on the comfy sunbeds and listening to the birds sing. Our bed was very comfortable and bathroom has good rain showerhead. Terrace also has a 2 person jacuzzi and sauna and there's a big steam room downstairs with showers and salt scrub table. It's summer so we didn't use it but def a nice incentive to come back in the winter. Nice continental breakfast in the morning with option to dine outside on the terrace. Ample parking right in front and hiking path within fields just across the street. Highly recommended and would stay again if ever in the area.
