★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The exterior of the building is a late gothic monument without peer in Europe, a sign of the resurgent power of the Brabantine Dukes and civic tradition in the lowlands. The interior is largely 19th century historicist and less noteworthy. Note that it's only accessible in a tour group, see the tourist office for tickets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you should only visit one monument in Leuven chose the Town Hall! The outside of the building is already incredible but the inside is completely worth the 4 Euros you''ll have to pay at the tourist office. The guide was delightful and keen on her town : from one beautiful salon to another she told us the story of Leuven : it was both a joy to look and to listen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible monument with a splendid Gothic architecture! We went there a weekend and the place is absolutely stunning on a Sunday morning as there is not even one soul. The best view is from the bus stop on the other side of the road, with the Church and the hotel. One of the best Belgian town Hall!

The building is absolutely amazing, you can contemplate it for hours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most incredible and intricate buildings! You could stand and stare at it for hours and continually notice something new! Even more wonderful in the morning sunlight we got. We did not go inside, we were simply happy to gaze upon it.
