I have been here for the second time now and still enjoyed it as much as the first time. Amazing place! Really cozy, quiet and peaceful! Perfect location to explore Les Hautes Fagnes. We were very well welcomed by Christiane who also gave us great tips to discover the area – and for restaurants in Eupen. Royal breakfast in beautiful surroundings – will definitely come back ;-)

We spend 3 nights in this lovely place. The room was perfect and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. They had all the necessary equipments for our 2 year old son. The host is lovely and catering to all our needs. I highly recommend this place. The area is also very beautiful with many nice spots to explore.

Every year since 2016 we are staying a couple of nights during the weekend of the Belgian Grand Prix. When we leave at Sunday night or monday morning after the races we book for the following year. It is a tradition for me, my father and brother in law. Every year it feels like coming home and our stay is one of the highlights. Christiane and Neni are doing their absolute best to make us as comfortable as possible. Perfect and spacious rooms, we sleep like babies in the comfortable beds. Fantastic bathrooms and a breakfast that is better than in most luxery hotels. Christiane makes reservations for restaurants and they are always spot-on. Christiane is a perfect host and is really fun and nice to have a good conversation with. The two house dogs Snoopy and Lucky are adorable and love the cuddles. So all in all, I highly recommend a stay at haus Langesthal. We will be there again in August 2022.

We spent two nights at this wonderful, unique accomodation. Frau Dassel and the staff were very friendly, and we felt welcome and at ease. The mansion is decorated and maintained in authentic fashion, and the facilities are in good condition. Also, the breakfast was luxurious and adapted to our vegetarian needs. Many thanks!

Waw! What an incredible experience we had here. The place is charming and full of history, you have a domain where you can walk nearby the river, and the room took our breath away, super good decoration and super clean!! Also the breakfast is very generous and serve in a beautiful room! Ms Dassel is a wonderful host and we thank her again to make this experience affordable for a young couple. For sure we will come back!!!

Amazing property in a historic house and great location for exploring high fens . The house is kept as it was 200 years ago, allowing you to escape for a few days. The room and bathroom are great and clean. There’s a delicious and generous breakfast whenever you feel like getting up. Definitely recommend ! Auf Wiedersehen Frau Dassel!

We had a wonderful weekend at Haus Langesthal, a lovely and romantic mansion in the middle of the woods and beautiful river. Christiane is a charming host, making you feel at home, flexible and attentive to all details. We have been please to meet her and get to know more about her and the history of the house. Christiane definitely knows how to receive guests and she will treat you all along your stay: sweet attention, glass of wine, lavish breakfast and some extra to make sandwiches for our hikes. We even left with is a little souvenir. I sincerely recommend if you are up to a getaway in Haute Fagnes (15 min away). I wish we could have stayed longer and spend some time in the library - absolutely stunning! Thank you so much to you Christiane for being so nice with us and thanks also to Neny, the doggies, squirrels and little birds ;-)

Amazing location, stunning decor and spacious rooms. The host and her 2 dogs were very welcoming, even though we arrived a bit late in the evening due to bad weather. Breakfast was more than satisfactory and we could even take the leftovers with us for lunch during our hike. If I could, I would give an additional star for the 2 dogs (Lucky and Snoopy) and for the goodbye present the host gave us (an antique postcard drawing of Antwerp)! An absolute gem and definitely a recommendation from my side. Thank you, Christiane!
