★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vorige zaterdag toevallig de galerij Thiels binnengestapt. Eén specifiek schilderij genoot onmiddellijk onze aandacht. Bernd, de zoon van de eigenaar van de galerij, spaarde tijd noch moeite om ons de nodige toelichting te geven over Magrete Vanschoelant, de schilder/kunstenaar van het werk. Ook presenteerde hij het schilder zodat we ons een vrij realistisch beeld konden vormen hoe het schilderij in onze living zou passen. Hij stelde ons tevens voor om het schilderij bij ons thuis te komen « presenteren » zonder aankoopverplichting. Maandag is hij dit komen doen en hij heeft het schilderij onmiddellijk mogen laten hangen.
Wij zijn ontzettend gecharmeerd door de aanpak van Bernd…klasse.
 Stumbled into the Thiels gallery by chance last Saturday. One specific painting immediately caught our attention. Bernd, the son of the gallery's owner, spared neither time nor effort to give us the necessary explanations about Magrete Vanschoelant, the painter/artist of the work. He also presented the painter so that we could form a fairly realistic picture of how the painting would fit in our living room. He also suggested that we « present » the painting at our home without any obligation to purchase. He came to do this on Monday and was allowed to hang the painting immediately.
We are very charmed by Bernd's approach…class.
