β β β β β Food is excellent, no contest. But there is no table service. You need to take your order and pay to the counter. You can take your drink back to the table and they provide you with a buzzer that notifies you when your order is ready for pickup at the kitchen counter. Staff is very helpful but they mostly stay in the kitchen clean the tables.

β β β β β Very nice experience. In the framework of international photo biennial I have visited this place. Exposition of Marc Lagrange was outstanding. Also enjoyed nice terrace on a beautiful day. Free parking.

β β β β β A nice position on the beach, but the whole place it's rather spartan. Not much of any things in display, like cannons or other weapons normally associated with a military facility. Therefore I would consider this place rather pricey for what can offer.

β β β β β To be honest when I went there there was a book promotion for kids going on so it canβt say much as I didnβt get the whole experience of the place . That is why I give it 3 stars.

β β β β β The Fort has been renovated since the last time Iβve been there. The glass building that has been added is a lovely place to drink or eat something. I do feel like the place is focused on families and children nowadays, so if you donβt like that I suggest you donβt go inside. They also removed the old bar, which takes away from the authenticity that this place had back in the day.

β β β β β Fort Napoleon situated on the beach of Belgium North Sea coast line, in Oostende was built by the great Napoleon in 1811 when France occupied Belgium. He thought the English fleet is going to attack him there and he put people to built that Fort. English didnβt so this was used as a watch point and later, used as a garrison for german soldiers during the 1st and the 2nd World War. The Fort was completely restored in 1995 and now it is a beautiful place to visit

β β β β β Interesting place to gain basic facts connected to military history of Oostende via audioguide. Otherwise inside the fortress not much to be seen, that means entrance fee seems to be too high. Nice view from a roof, free parking nearby and free ferry boat to city centre in walking distance if you want to visit it. Current Tik Tak expo is designed for smaller children, so when visited be prepared for a little noisy atmosphere.
