The gentleman working at desk 25 on the 22nd of September was horribly rude and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. I have worked in a similar office that deals with foreigners in the US, and understand that it can be tough and stressful, but kindness can literally create a better society and decrease the stress levels of someone trying to move to a brand new country. I don't know the language, I am trying my best to integrate in the culture, and don't want to create tension with the locals, but he was extremely rude. I understand that he was angry that I was late to my appointment, but there is a way to treat people by kindly declining your services instead of shouting and causing a scene. Fortunately, the lady next to him helped me the best that she could, and even though we realized that I was in the wrong town hall, I still applaud her for her kindness and wish her luck in the future.

I did not manage to finish the simple procedure of changing the address two months after i moved to Etterbeek from another Brussels municipality, and i fear going to this administration again, after the way i was treated today.
