★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Mahnmal wurde am südöstlichen Rand auf Rodder Höhe nahe Wirtzfeld des Camp Elsenborn im Jahr 2008 errichtet.
An der Stelle wurde am 17. Dezember 1944 die deutsche Front (12. SS-Panzerdivision & 277. Volks-Grenadier-Division) mit einer Verteidigungslinie zw. Wirtzfeld und Elsenborn gestoppt womit das Camp Elsenborn nicht erobert wurde.
 The memorial was erected on the southeastern edge at Rodder Höhe near Wirtzfeld at Camp Elsenborn in 2008.
On December 17, 1944, the German front (12th SS Panzer Division & 277th People's Grenadier Division) was stopped with a line of defense between Wirtzfeld and Elsenborn, which did not conquer Camp Elsenborn.
