M	Marc Moret on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op donderdag 16 september hebben wij zeer lekker gegeten. Het menu was sliptongetjes met frieten en salade a volonté. Alles was netjes geserveerd. Voor een tweede portie sliptongetjes moest ikzelf naar binnen gaan en erom vragen. Er was echter geen volk, wij waren de enige klanten. Omdat het een tijdje duurde voor de tweede porie sliptongetjes waren onze frietjes koud en heb ik wat warme frieten bij gevraagd. De witte huiswijn was lekker en erna hebben wij nog een koffie gedronken.Toen ik de rekening vroeg was de tweede portie frieten aangerekend. Ik vind dit zeer droevig en dit zou bij de vorige eigenaars nooit gebeurd zijn. Wij waren vaste klanten bij de vorige eigenaars en gingen daar maandelijks eten. Zulke praktijken doen mij de das om. On Thursday 16 September we had a very nice meal. The menu was sole with chips and salad a volonté. Everything was neatly served. For a second serving of slip soles I had to go in myself and ask for it. However, there were no people, we were the only customers. Because it took a while for the second pore of sole, our fries were cold and I asked for some warm fries. The white house wine was tasty and afterwards we drank a coffee. When I asked for the bill, the second portion of fries was charged. I find this very sad and this would never have happened with the previous owners. We were regular customers with the previous owners and went there every month for dinner. Such practices are killing me.

The food is quite good, the beer is, well, Belgian (can't go wrong), the wine list is mostly Portuguese, which is also a very good thing. Most important though, is that you can sit outside or in the winter garden and eat, while your kids play to their hearts content in a playground that is nothing less than EPIC. GREAT combination. The kids are happy, the parents get a break, fantastic deal all around. Four and not five stars only because they need to hire more wait staff. The service is stressed sometimes and not around often enough.

Child friendly, has chairs for babies and a place to change diapers. The children will be lost in the playground, you will not find them back. We visited this restaurant as a tearoom and this place serves some of the best waffles in the country. All coffee and tea is served with cakes. The servings ate quite large.

There was a nice beer selection. The staff was kind. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping by for dinner.
