★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proper en opgeruimd, voldoende ruimte om met je auto & aanhangwagen te manoeuvreren. Vriendelijk personeel waar je met je sorteervragen bij terecht kan.
Clean and tidy, plenty of room to maneuver with your car & trailer. Friendly staff where you can go with your sorting questions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Important place to know if you live in Kessel-Lo. You need an ID (Belgian) to can use the services. You have to pay for it based on waste type, but the interpretation is sometimes vague.
Containerpark is intended for all nonstandard types of waste. If you come there with standard recognized type, then should be in the right type of plastic bag (in Leuven they have, brown for common small waste, blue for PMD= plastic and metal boxes and bottles. In other districts they have different colors to make it "easy". They are not interchangeable!)
Example: You can not come with soft plastic = plastic bags (from furniture or electronics) without to pack them all in another pink plastic bag.
Everybody is speaking about recyclation and the companies producing Paper, Glass, Light bulbs... get secondary raw material for free, part of our taxes is used for subsidy and we have to pay for such service. I think thay try to limit the amount of waste by this. Otherwise will come people's they are not able to pay 6 to ca 15€ for every visit. But in fact here come usually peoples by car - this explains everything.
The place is clean and the stuff try to do their job as good as possible. The system is unlogic and unfriendly for foreigners and shall not be called service for citizens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited here to dump some waste and broken stuff before leaving Belgium. I must say this is one of my most memorable experience living in this country for years. Patient and helpful staff and all wastes are sorted in good order. I am very happy this site is truly giving my broken and used stuff a second life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is always helpful and will answer all your questions. You simply report what you want to bin upon entry. You have to show your ID card and pay a fee which depends on your residency and what you want to drop off).
After that you can drive in and park by any area of your interest and drop off ale the waste.
All the areas are neatly separated and I find visits here calming and quite chill.
