Strange to read so many extreme comments. Recently accompanied my wife on a visit to Dr De Merlier. Very professional, human, explanatory and confidence inspiring.

Good dermatologist who knows what he is doing. Been to many doctors. Piet does not speak to you but is busy with your skin. The treatment is TOP and will definitely come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend came to me now very upset by a phone call she just had with Dr. Merlier. She previously visited Dr. Merlier more than 3 months ago and apparently the medications Dr. Merlier prescribed have not work yet and her situation is getting worse and worse (she is diagnosed with Alopecia areata). While she was simply asking whether it is possible to visit the doctor earlier, Dr. Merlier said he is very busy and hang off the phone on her. I think this kind of behavior is not professional at all and Dr. Merlier could have behaved more politely at least to his own patients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unpleasant experience !! Being the only patient at the waiting room, I was still rushed to finish of my consultation. Even before I completed explaining my other skin problems, the doctor almost handed over the prescription :( Time spent by a doctor with a patient must be always qualitative but in my case it was not so :(
