★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je me suis rendue en consultation chez le Dr Verdonck en août 2019. J'ai une vue difficile à corriger suite à des opérations pour la myopie faites il y a plus de 20 ans. A présent je porte des lentilles et je voulais une prescription pour une paire de lunettes pour voir à l'ordinateur au cas où je ne peux pas mettre mes lentilles. Mes lunettes que je porte si je ne mets pas mes lentilles ne me permettent pas de voir à une distance d'ordinateur.
Le Dr Verdonck a littéralement bâclé la consultation. Elle était sèche et très expéditive. Elle m'a dit qu'elle ne pouvait rien pour moi et je suis ressortie de son cabinet sans prescription. Elle m'a conseillé d'aller voir un autre ophtalmo. Super docteur !!!! Et 50 € dans sa poche !!!!
Je suis sortie en pleurs complètement anéantie.
Depuis j'ai une paire de lunettes pour voir sur l'ordinateur prescrite par un "vrai" ophtalmo.
I went to see Dr. Verdonck in consultation in August 2019. I have a difficult view to correct following operations for myopia made more than 20 years ago. At present I wear lenses and I wanted a prescription for a pair of glasses to see the computer in case I can not put my lenses. My glasses that I wear if I do not put my lenses do not allow me to see at a computer distance.
Dr. Verdonck literally botched the consultation. She was dry and very expeditious. She told me that she could not do anything for me and I came out of her office without a prescription. She advised me to go see another ophthalmologist. Super doctor !!!! And 50 € in his pocket !!!!
I went out in tears completely annihilated.
Since I have a pair of glasses to see on the computer prescribed by a "real" ophthalmologist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a result of this doctor's gross medical negligence, my mother may suffer permanent loss of vision in her left eye due to an infection that manifested immediately after a visit. During the visit, the doctor wounded her eye and she spent a whole day in agony due to this. We returned several times for further treatment until she told us to go to he hospital because she was totally out of her depth. It is worth mentioning that she made us pay large sums for each visit, despite the issue having been caused by HER negligence.
At the hospital we were told that they can't yet say whether her vision will return to normal, but it is likely that there will be some permanent damage.
We will never return to Dr. Verdonck and I would never recommend her to anyone. Ever.
