β β β β β Special place with kind of a post-apocalyptic feel. There is a beach and in the summer there's an open air cinema!

β β β β β Nice cosy place to spend some time with your kids, last Sunday of each month there is a big flee market during summer, do not expect a hygienic toilet and you have to buy 10 euro tickets in bulk to buy anything from the bar etc

β β β β β A cosy little place, which sometimes hosts a flea market. Worth a vidit. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, just depends on who brings stuff. There's also food and drink there, but you have to buy tokens unfortunately

β β β β β Great multi-cultural space with a very hippy style facing Gent's industrial area next to the canal. (I see a reviewer below saying there's a "beach" there - I haven't got the slightest clue what she means by that...)

β β β β β I love to see how Dok becomes one of the monumental organisations in Belgium. This magical space gives you more than a space where you can spend your free time but let you interact with lots of nice individuals and be part of collectives.

β β β β β Located just outside the centre of Gent. A lively enclave for young and old in the harbour. Disused buildings have been repurposed into concert halls, bars, restaurants by creative souls.
A great mix of old and new topped off with a hint of hippy, happy go lucky vibes.

β β β β β Cultural hotspot when it comes to street art and graffiti. In Spring and Summer, often events are organized there or in the neighbourhood. Must go there at least once when in Ghent! ?
