The supposedly higher price than other places is not often founded, specially when you factor in the quality of the product. Overall, I like their shops and the quality of their products.

Along with an amazing bakery section and all the great European grocery selections. I found it fun and interesting.

E	Edward Pincott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On 4 separate occasions I've bought milk here only to find it has gone sour before the expiry date. The problem has still not been solved. My complaint today is about the Mr GEORGES which operates within the Delhaize. I was appauled to notice that when they sell you the Spanish ham (already expensive at 187euros per kilo) they weigh the packaging with the ham everytime. The packaging (in my case) weighs 8grams so that's almost 1.50euros you're paying for the simple paper they wrap it in! (In my case it was almost 3euros because I wanted two different hams). Scandalous. I walked around the delhaize doing the rest of my shopping and got myself more and more annoyed thinking about the thousands of euros a year they are making on the packaging of unsuspecting clients. Out of principle I gave back the ham and refused to pay for it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They admitted just that this is the Mr Georges policy. and even though it had already been brought to the owner's attention nothing has been done. It's so simple to calibrate the scale to zero, and then to weigh the product. (if you WISH to do it correctly). I dont like being taken for an idiot. So I won't buy there again.
C	Christian Hauschildt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great Delhaize, without doubt one of the better ones I have shopped in, they have a good selection of products, including good quality fresh produce and good selections of both meat and fish. The shop is well maintained, clean and organised. For a Belgian supermarket it also had a decent selection of international produce. The prices are typical Delhaize prices, meaning slightly higher than other supermarket chains, but the quality matches the price well.
